THE THURNEMAN IMPROVISATIONS (DMC 1411):

In Sigvard Thurneman's study there was a piano. But what he once played thereon lies as grey ashes upon the black and white keys. It is these very ashes that the man now seated at the piano wishes to stir once again.

Instead of sheet music there is a manual of hypnotism placed upon the stand.
From the green candles flames appear.

When improvising one is led further away from a beginning, oneself, and an ending, and sometimes you catch yourself having stared nebulously into the eye of the hypnotist.
The hands having fallen from the face of Time. The metronome deceased.
You then find yourself in Den Magiska Cirkeln.

Thusly it happened according to our pianist.
Gradually he grew heavier and heavier, but his hands appeared lighter.
Suddenly the dust having covered the piano fell to the floor and the room became a memorial grove.

Thurneman was now present and gave the ashes form. No form.

MANHUNTER: THE STORY OF THE SWEDISH OCCULTIST AND SERIAL KILLER THURNEMAN

HYOSCYAMUS THURNEMAN
Four musicians interpret the henbane induced compositions performed on piano by Thurneman preceeding the lengthy nocturnal seance sessions of Den Magiska Cirkeln (The Magic Circle).
Audio companion for the book as a compact disc sold with the book or separately.
Featuring "Ni är under hypnos, Ni är under jord" from Hypnosmord. This composition of around 10 minutes was recorded in the fall of 2019, using only the grand piano as sound source.
Despite obvious similarities to the "Thurneman Improvisations", this is unique material and has a more conventional production.
In addition to this one finds material from three other artists:

"Four hands performing automatic decompositions for the grand piano.
Two vessels operating under one will – the hypnotic trance of the murderer saint.
Each stroke on the strings conducted from beyond by the Manhunter, the astral being known in his earthly form as Sigvard Nilsson-Thurneman. Once existing on this earth, now merely as a shade on astral levels. Pulling their strings. Commanding the movements of his accomplices. Controlling mind and matter. Altering the possessive state. Piano fingers become trigger fingers.
The Thurneman Improvisations consists of five suites, divided over one hour. Devotional music of profound sinister nature. A salutation of Sigvard Nillson-Thurneman on the midnight hour, the 14th of November - commemorating his twofold birth.
Thurneman - the Manhunter. Magician, murderer & notorious gang leader of the criminal-esoteric society "Den Magiska Cirkeln" (publicly known as Salaligan or The Sala Gang during their seven years reign of terror between 1930-1937). Crowned as the "public enemy no 1" by the establishment, he was a scapegoat unlike any other in Scandinavia at the time.
On the night of his 22nd birthday in 1930, he became reborn as an initiate into the cult of Kain through his first act of murder.
That night he took his first steps on the path of Vama Marga, crossing the abyss within himself and embarking on a road of no return.
The echoes of gunfire in the night can still be heard, reverberations travelling through the spaces between lifeless stars...

På notstället står en hypnoslära och ur de gröna stearinljusen slår lågor upp.

Då man i improvisationen leds allt längre bort från en början, sig själv och ett slut, finner man ibland att man dimsynt stirrat in i Hypnotisörens öga.
Att visarna fallit av tiden. Metronomen avlidit.
Man befinner sig då i Den Magiska Cirkeln.

Att så skedde har vår pianist berättat.
Gradvid blev han tyngre och tyngre, men händerna lätta.
Stoftet som täckt pianot föll plötsligt till golvet och rummet blev en minneslund.

Thurneman var nu närvarande och gav askan form. Ingen form.
